A "Master" at work at the Barnsley Chronicle...

Every so often a Man arrives in a Town and splits opinion.
Andrew Harrod, a Giant of a Man in the literal sense, has threatened change in Barnsley.
With a highly regarded background in Publishing He is now the Editor of Barnsley Chronicle.
For many years "Ferret" has appeared as a weekly column, offering wit, sarcasm and trepidation for many.
Few have known the true identity of Ferret as He strolled the Town collecting tales of Townsfolk.
Local Councillors turned the pages slowly to see if they found themselves chastised.
Ferret may have been the person sat next to you on the Bus, Intent on catching your conversations to share with the Town.
You might find your Car Number Plate Mocked by a Professional Mocker! Under cover of anonymity Ferret lurked to share your actions and thoughts.
And now.....Andrew Harrod is considering taking the Axe to Ferret!
The half of Town that dislike Ferret rejoice but the half of Town who support Him refuse to let the Axe fall.
Perhaps our Editor will follow Solomon in offering to use the Axe to split Ferret into two!
Our Editor sees the future and wants to modernise.
Half the Town just see "Tinkering" with the Towns heritage and oppose change.Ferret is a Friend.
The "Big Man"  will need His shoulders and promises to "Think carefully" before a final decision is made.
He has stirred the Town to life.
What can you say about this Barnsley Lad?
As the circulation of the Chronicle no doubt rises and the Town Has been drawn into the debate.....We have seen the art of "Marketing", a master at work.
Everyone knows our New Editor has arrived.
The style is changing and for the better. And we are paying attention.
Its good to hear Barnsley "Shouting" about something because they will need to as they tell the rest of the World about their talents to survive future challenges.
The Chronicle looks set to be more positive.
If so..it is never likely to be boring!
Never doubt it.....Andrew Harrod has already shown how shrewd He is.
The Town has come to life....and life will come to the Town when we present our good Image.
Change is afoot (maybe) and it grabs our attention.
Suddenly we are not just arguing about the football....but talking about that Fella at the Chronicle!
