Consider the Evidence before making your claim

Human nature is a funny thing and prone to fooling itself by "rationalising"
Whenever someone speaks at length about being an "Individual" or "Unique" why do we then find them following the crowd!
I met a Man recently who wanted to tell anyone who listened to Him that "no person" or "anything" would ever hold authority over Him.
When I mentioned that all of us are accountable to some authority He said proudly "not Me!"
He disappeared several times looking a little agitated.
It became apparent He needed a Cigarette on a regular basis.
I asked Him if He had ever considered the "Authority" that He was tied to and Indignantly, He challenged "How do you work that out?"
"Well" I said, "Are you not the Slave and the Cigarette Master over you?"
What we think is not always compatible with the facts.
It’s best to take a close and honest look at what we claim before we make it.
The evidence should then always back up our claim.
