Present with good humour

Sir Gerry Robinson, a hugely gifted businessman rightly said, “There is no such thing as a “Perfect" Presenter, Just someone with clear thinking”.
I have done a lot of presentations to huge audiences and "one to one" and never forget that having something for people to adopt is a good aim.
I love presentations. The adrenalin and challenge just appeal to me.
Challenging minds and widening peoples thinking is very satisfying.
My nervousness disappears with the first point I make to get Impact.
This photo was pointed out to me recently.
I was told I look as if I was getting ready for a bit of “mischief”!
Is it that obvious?
My audience was the best minds in Aerospace who I worked with on many projects.
A senior member of BAE did not know it yet but I was about to challenge him to try and throw a balsa wood plane through a hoop I had set up.
He was a great sport and it raised huge laughter.
To satisfy Rolls Royce we said that failure was due to the lack of their engines!
Everyone got planes to take home for young ones as part of our Marketing.
They were still talking about it two years later!
Seems I get to have all the fun....but occasionally it is hard work too!
