Huge respect for "The Man" - Dan Jarvis MP

One good thing that comes from meeting many people is that from time to time I meet remarkable people, Impossible not to respect.
Its no stranger to people who know me that I do not like stereotypes who are one person on the outside and another on the Inside.
Good friendships are often formed with people who have shared goals but occasionally they come about with some who share philosophy but rely on a different means to arrive at solutions.
Politics to me is a temporary solution to providing Societies needs but provides much needed things like law, Schools, Hospitals and Emergency Services etc.
I once met a famous Film Star. She searched me out.
The reason?
I treated Her as I would anyone, never treating Her as a Celebrity.
She said It was refreshing and allowed Her to be more "Normal and relaxed".
That might explain why I get on so well with Dan Jarvis MP.
Not that He sees Himself as a Celebrity!
Far from it but of course people often see His position rather than see the Man.
He is devoted to His young Family having lost His Wife Caroline to Cancer. She would be proud how Dan is handling His new prominent role but with His children as His fixed priority.
He is no stranger to "Service", having a background in Military Service that would make a good Film.
He is highly competent but modest. Under pressure or tired He is patient but most of all, He does not allow His Politics to steal Him from reality.
He respects the opinions of others and Is perhaps happiest when people deal with Him as an "Ordinary Bloke".
In truth He is not ordinary in character but nothing in His manner seeks to draw attention to Himself.
Whatever He does in life He will seek to serve. Its in the nature of Him I suspect.
Just today I found out He was born in the same Town as me.
Whats the betting He was a County Fan and me a Forest Fan!
Somehow, In His case, differences shared seems to be part of the Bond.
One thing we both need to be is a Barnsley FC Fan.....so we are on our way to a long Friendship!
